Ms. Zornow & Mrs. Toth
About Us

Annie Toth teaches IB Environmental Systems & Societies at Myers Park. Tracy Zornow teaches AP Environmental Science at Myers Park. We also teach Earth/Environmental Science. We collaborate on much of our work here at MP.

Mrs. Toth's Info: I grew up north of Pittsburgh, PA. I spent 4 great years at Clemson getting my BS in Biological Sciences. I also spent a semester studying abroad in Scotland. After college, I was a teaching assistant with Duke University's TIP program, a summer camp for gifted high-school students. I then moved to Charlotte to begin my teaching career in Union County. I spent a few years there teaching Biology and Earth/Environmental Science. In August 2006 I became a Mustang, teaching Earth/Environmental Science, and began teaching IB Environmental in 2008. I became a Nationally Board Certified Teacher in 2014. MP is a great place to be, especially in the science department! In my free time, I like to go hiking with my husband, my two sons, and our dogs and I spend a lot of time with my family near Greensboro, NC.

Ms. Zornow's Info: I am originally from Rochester, NY. I have a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Education from SUNY Fredonia and a M.Ed in Secondary Education from Nazareth College. In the fall of 2001 I decided to move for a teaching position at MP and I have been here ever since! I have taught many courses at MP including AP/IB Environmental, Earth-Environmental, Biology, Oceanography and Astronomy. Environmental Science is by far my favorite to teach!. I became a Nationally Board Certified Teacher in 2015. During the summers I teach Introduction to Laboratory Science for the Duke TIP program at Davidson College.
